In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 9 of the Intermediate Education Act, 1921, read with Section 16-G thereof and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Governor is pleased to make the following Regulations with a view to amending the Uttar Pradesh Employees of School and Intermediate Colleges (Special Conditions of Service Relating to Family Planning) Regulations, 1976:1. Short title and commencement. – (1) These Regulations may be called the Uttar Pradesh Employees of Schools and Intermediate Collages (Special Conditions of Service Relating to Family Planning) (First Amendment) Regulations, 1977.(2) They shall come into force at once.2. Deferment of some provisions of Regulations 4(2) and 6. – The operation of the following Regulations of the Uttar Pradesh Employees of Schools and Intermediate Colleges (Special Conditions of Service Relating to Family Planning) Regulations, 1976 shall stand deferred to the extent noted against each-

(1) Regulation 4(2)-Restriction on annual increment and crossing of efficiency bar.

(2) Regulation 6-Regulation on the sanction of advance from the Provident Fund exceeding three months pay or half the amount in his credit, whichever is less, or any advance before the expiry of twelve months after the final repayment of all previous advance to a disqualified employee.Explanation-The above deferment of the provision shall also be effective in respect of matters pending on the date of commencement of these regulation.
